Bringing Baby Home

Bringing Baby Home (BBH) is a program designed for expectant and new parents making the transition to parenthood.

Although the arrival of a baby is a joyous occasion, there's no denying that it can also be a stressful time for relationships. In fact, statistics show that 67% of new parents report increased conflict and decreased satisfaction in their relationship after the birth of a baby.

World renowned experts in the field of couples counseling and parenting, John Gottman and Julie Schwartz-Gottman, have created this research-based and researched-tested workshop to teach couples the necessary skills to strengthen  their friendship, maintain intimacy and manage conflict. In addition to these skills, couples learn about child development, co-parenting, and emotion-coaching with children.

Couples who participate in the  the BBH Workshop  can expect  to:

  • Learn how to stay connected emotionally.
  • Learn how to  strengthen trust, commitment and friendship.
  • Learn how to manage conflct and avoid the 4 predictors of marital unhappiness and divorce.
  • Learn how to maintain intimacy and romance.
  • Learn to co-parent productively.
